still sick

After Toby finally got better from being sick, Zeke and Porter started running fevers. Then this last weekend I finally gave in and took my turn being sick. It hasn't been a very fun house to be in these last 3 weeks. Just thought I'd post a couple pictures of the boys doing an inside activity since we've been cooped up for so long.

Toby's Birthday

Last week we celebrated Toby's birthday. That means that for a whole 15 days, he is older than me.

I am so lucky to have this man in my life. I love him so much and I hope he had a great birthday.

Kristel and Co. visit

Ok I admit, basketball isn't the only thing I've been doing. A couple weeks ago, Kristel and her kids came to stay with us for a week. I did a horrible job at taking pictures but we do have a few. The first day we went to Discovery Park. It was pretty much the only thing Toby did with us because after that he was stuck in bed sick.

Somehow we managed to get all 5 kids to bed. Things got a little crazy at night doing the routine, but Kristel and her family were good sports to put up with Scriptures and Stories every night.

A few of the other things that kept us busy were spending a fun day in Bountiful with all of the cousins, celebrating Tyson's birthday with him in Provo, going to parks and playing games. The kids did really well and had a ton of fun together. We loved having them visit.

It's been a while....

I needed a break from my blog. Sorry. I guess it's time to get back to it.

What have I been up to you ask?

Basketball! Lots and Lots of Basketball.

It really is a glorious thing. Here are a few highlights...

Playing with my friends for exercise.

Playing on a City League team with some of those aforementioned friends and taking 2nd.

Almost getting surgery on my eye because of a fingernail through the eye on a rebound in the Championship game.

Going to Idaho (without kids!) to watch my little sister, Kendra win State her senior year!

Coaching the YW basketball team.

Playing on the Ward team and going to Regions. Finals are this week.

And Lastly... BYU BASKETBALL!!! Yes I have Jimmer fever and will be watching as the Cougs play in the SWEET SIXTEEN!
