Timeout

Zeke put me in timeout!

What?!! It took me calling my mom and telling her to realize that it actually is funny. What did I do to earn timeout anyway? Well, I will tell you.

Zeke poured juice all over the floor.... again. I'm pretty sure I groaned/screamed/yelled all at the same time. After I was done cleaning it up, I threw myself onto the couch.

Zeke went and got the timer and set it to 15 minutes and turned to me and said "Stay there."

Now you see my dilemma with figuring out how to discipline this kid. The day before this, I spanked his bum for something and he ran back over and spanked me. Not Cool!

I just don't know what to do!

A Long Week

Isn't this the cutest picture you've ever seen? I Love it!!

Now on to the rest of my post. This is the reason I've been sleep deprived for the last week.

I finally took back my kitchen.

The pack-n-play has had a permanent home in my kitchen ever since Porter was born. I finally decided it was time to put the boys in the same room. Yeah, I've tried it once or twice before, but never made it. This time I was convinced to make it work. I promised myself I would give it a week and a week it has been.

A very long and exhausting week.

Let's just say that the boys have done a great job of taking turns having bad nights and with those bad nights, waking each other up. Last night gave me hope, however. Zeke actually slept through Porter crying. That gave me the strength to keep going.

Maybe, just maybe, one day we will all go to bed and sleep until morning. Wouldn't that be great?!!

And a couple cute pictures from the park on Memorial Day.

Trent saves the day

When you drive your husband to work... it just worked out that way today.... do you get dressed and ready?

No! You hop in the car in your pajamas with your slippers on. You Throw the kids in the back seat with their blankets and get on your way.

After dropping Toby off I hopped into the driver's seat and headed home.

I was minding my own business when I exited the freeway and pulled up to the stoplight. Suddenly there was a knock on my window!

Yes it scared me half to death.

There was man there so I tentatively rolled me window down.

"You have a really flat tire on your car, did you know that?"

Seriously?!!! That's when the light turned green. I went through the intersection and pulled off the road at the first chance I got. I examined the tires on my car by leaning out the door and sure enough... I had a flat.

So, I did what every self respecting person in her pajamas and slippers would do! I called my brother! I am so lucky to have a brother that lives close by. He came to the rescue right away and I was on my way in no time.

Don't worry... I drove home and got ready for the day before taking the car to get fixed.
